From national defence to financial freedom, William has always led with purpose.

A recipient of the prestigious SAF scholarship, William served 14 years in the Singapore Armed Forces, holding senior leadership roles before transitioning into financial services in 2011. Bringing with him the same discipline and strategic mindset, he is now one of Unicorn’s top Family Wealth Managers—managing one of the largest portfolios of assets under advisory.

In addition to his work in financial services, William is also an investor in multiple businesses, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit and belief in long-term, sustainable growth beyond traditional investments.

As a Business Leader, William mentors aspiring Family Wealth Consultants, especially ex-military officers and professionals, helping them build successful, investor-focused practices. His philosophy—“Lead by Example. Make it Happen.”—is reflected in everything he does, from guiding investors to growing leaders.

For William, financial planning is more than numbers—it’s about empowering people to build lasting wealth and a secure future with confidence.

Xiaoqing made a mid-career leap from a regional management role at a leading MNC to thrive in family wealth management. Despite having no formal finance background, she rose swiftly—becoming a Business Leader within a year and mentoring a team of professionals toward both personal and professional excellence.

In just three years, she became one of the first two among hundreds to be conferred the title of Certified Advanced Financial Planner—playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s professional development.

Alongside trusted senior partners and seasoned investors she respects, Xiaoqing has also ventured into multiple business investments—opportunities personally availed to her by her Chairman as part of her ongoing wealth building journey.

With a deep focus on PMEs, Xiaoqing understands the nuanced pressures of modern life: career demands, family responsibilities, and the need to plan wisely for the future. Her approach is personal and precise—rooted in listening, strategy, and care. She crafts tailored solutions that give her investors clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

“Money earned is temporary. Wealth built is a legacy.” Every PME deserves a trusted, personal financial guardian on their journey to creating a freehold life of wisdom and success.

Certified Advanced Financial Planner (CAFP)

The CAFP designation represents a mark of distinction earned by a select few within our firm who have demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and commitment to investor success.

Out of the hundreds of professionals trained over the years, only three have attained this rigorous certification—testament to the high standards and deep expertise required. CAFPs are often called upon by fellow practitioners across the firm to support key investor engagements, where they conduct in-depth financial diagnostics and develop tailor-made blueprints with solutions that are both precise and easy for investors to embrace.

In addition to their advisory role, CAFPs also lead the development of internal training curriculum, and set a strong example through the way they run their professional practices.

The CAFP designation is not an exam-based certification—it is a recognition earned through real, on-the-ground experience. It affirms those who have consistently walked alongside investors, helping them navigate complex financial challenges with clarity and care. More than a title, it’s a validation of meaningful impact, earned through mileage, not just modules.
